Mozy is now offering Mozy 2xProtect. This new feature allows MozyPro users to back up online and to a local external drive for no extra cost. The latest release of Mozy 2xProtect available in MozyPro for windows, allows users to back up to any network path including NAS devices and network drives. In order to use local backup on a network drive, verify that you are running the latest MozyPro software, then do the following using the MozyPro client:

1. Open Settings > Options > Local Backup, then select Enable local backup.

2. In the drive dropdown, select Add Network Share.

3. On the Add Network Share dialog, enter the UNC path, username, and password for MozyPro to use when accessing that drive.
